These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and NoSweats ("NoSweats," "we," "us") governing your use of the NoSweats app and website. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to create an account. Accounts are intended for parents/guardians who set up and manage student profiles. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
2. License
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your family's personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell, or use the service to build a competing product.
3. Subscriptions, billing & cancellation
- NoSweats offers auto-renewable subscriptions and, where available, a one-time Lifetime purchase. Prices and options are shown in the app before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- Auto-renewal: subscriptions automatically renew for the same period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Free trials (where offered): any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- Manage or cancel anytime in your device's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds are handled by Apple according to the App Store Terms; we generally cannot issue refunds directly.
4. Access codes & complimentary access
We may issue promotional or partner access codes, or grant complimentary access based on eligibility (for example, a school email domain). Complimentary access may be time-limited and may be modified or revoked. It has no cash value and is not transferable.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) use the service unlawfully or to harass others; (b) upload content you don't have the right to share, or that is offensive or infringing; (c) attempt to disrupt, probe, or gain unauthorized access to the service; or (d) misrepresent achievements or credentials. Profile media you upload must depict your own student, with appropriate consent.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of the information and media you add. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display it solely to operate and improve the service for you. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide.
7. Disclaimers
NoSweats provides planning tools, program information, and AI-generated insights for informational purposes. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any college, university, or program. We do not guarantee admission, program acceptance, scholarships, or any particular outcome. Program details and deadlines change; always verify important dates on the official program website before relying on them. The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NoSweats and its suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or opportunities, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Termination
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the service and its users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the date above and, for material changes, provide notice in the app. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [your state], without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts located in [your county/state], unless applicable law requires otherwise.
